Paul Salvaty is a litigation partner with Glaser Weil Fink Jacobs Howard Avchen & Shapiro LLP. Paul's primary expertise is in the prosecution and defense of business disputes with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation, antitrust litigation and class action defense. Paul has represented a variety of major companies and public agencies, both as plaintiffs and defendants.

Paul has trial and appellate experience in both state and federal actions. He has first-chaired several trials, argued numerous appeals and dispositive motions, handled many successful mediations, and taken and defended dozens of fact and expert depositions. On the plaintiff side alone, Paul has recovered over $100M in verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.

Paul currently holds leadership positions in several major organizations.  He is currently serving as the Vice President and President-Elect of the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.  He is a member of the Board of Governors for the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.  He also is serving as the Secretary to the Board of the UC Hastings Foundation, Chair of the ABA Section of Intellectual Property’s Committee 409 (Antitrust Matters) and Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar’s Antitrust and Unfair Business Practices Section.

Since 2004, Mr. Salvaty has been recognized multiple times as a Southern California Super Lawyer.

Before joining Glaser Weil, Paul was a litigation partner with O’Melveny & Myers LLP for several years. Before that, Paul served as law clerk for the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian, United States District Court for the Central District of California, law clerk for the Honorable Kim M. Wardlaw, United States District Court for the Central District of California, and judicial extern for the Honorable Richard Gadbois, United States District Court for the Central District of California.
