Partner Miriam J. (Mimi) Golbert has extensive experience in estate planning, probate and trust administration; taxation of trusts and estates; and estate and tax related matters. She is highly respected for her skill in assisting clients with complex estate and gift tax issues and resolving issues inherent in the transfer of family wealth and family businesses. She also represents non-citizens and non-residents of the United States in a variety of challenging estate and tax issues.
Ms. Golbert received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, and a certificate from the Institute for International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from University of California, Los Angeles Law School and earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of San Diego.
