Real Estate

The Firm’s Real Estate Department provides a broad range of legal services for clients in California, Nevada and throughout the country.  The Real Estate Department’s areas of practice include real estate acquisitions and dispositions, secured lending, including restructuring and workouts, construction, architecture and related  development matters, leasing, hospitality, land use, and environmental risk analysis, and in conjunction with the Corporate and Tax Departments, structuring the ownership and investment vehicles in connection with real estate acquisition and development.  Typically, attorneys are knowledgeable in multiple disciplines within the Real Estate Department and bring a broad range of expertise to each project.

Construction, Architecture & Development

Attorneys in the Real Estate Department have been involved in many significant development projects,. advising clients during all phases of design and construction, including negotiating the design, construction and consulting contracts as well as coordinating the entitlement process.  The firm also offers assistance with disputes that may arise during the course of construction and in connection with the close-out of development project.

Environmental

The members of the Firm’s Real Estate Department are familiar with the environmental issues that a buyer, seller, lender or developer may face in their real estate transactions, and utilizes the expertise of the Firm’s Environmental Department to provide environmental risk analysis and creative solutions to environmental issues.
