Glaser Weil’s Julie Gerchik and Elisa Paster Recognized as “Women’s Leadership Award” Nominees by the Los Angeles Business Journal

Glaser Weil is pleased to announce that Julie Gerchik and Elisa Paster have been named “Women’s Leadership Award” nominees by the Los Angeles Business Journal. The well-deserving attorneys were spotlighted in the business publication’s June 21st issue.

Ms. Gerchik is a litigation partner and chair of the firm’s diversity & inclusion committee and was a featured speaker on the “Leading Through Change” panel. She litigates all types of complex commercial matters including financial institution matters, securities litigation and regulatory matters, real estate and developer disputes, all types of investigations, entertainment, employment, technology, and IP matters.

Ms. Paster is a partner and co-chair of the firm’s government & regulatory department and appeared on the “For Greater Good” panel. She has worked as a land use lawyer assisting her clients with development, planning and placemaking.  Ms. Paster specializes in navigating complex entitlement and environmental processes across California, including Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Culver City, Long Beach, and Beverly Hills and the unincorporated County of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Business Journal’s annual “Women’s Leadership Series and Awards” is a free three-part virtual event series. Featured panelists will be covering topics of ongoing importance, from leading through change and mentorship to the road to entrepreneurship and navigating today’s work-life balance demands. Finalists and winners will be announced during the final series on June 23rd, 2021.
