Julie Gerchik Recognized as one of the “Top Litigators & Trial Lawyers in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal

Glaser Weil is pleased to announce Litigation Partner Julie R. F. Gerchik has been selected as a 2019 “Top Litigator & Trial Lawyer” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. Ms. Gerchik was singled out for being a master of her craft.

The prestigious Los Angeles Business Journal scoured all of Los Angeles to hand pick the leading litigators for their esteemed annual list. Representing the firm, Ms. Gerchik was chosen for her experience handling all types of complex commercial litigation and business matters for the finance industry, including leading financial institutions, private equity firms, hedge funds and financial advisory firms; the real estate industry; and the technology and entertainment sectors.  

Ms. Gerchik’s commitment to achieving justice for her clients, including her pro bono clients, is unparalleled. Throughout her practice, Ms. Gerchik consistently has been involved in a wide range of pro bono matters, including supervising a major Holocaust reparations project on behalf of Holocaust survivors in the U.S., and taking a primary role in co-drafting the Bill of Rights for a newly created government.

Ms. Gerchik also gives back to the legal community itself. She is proud to be on the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, on the Board of Governors of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, a past Co-Chair of the Executive Committee of the Bet Tzedek New Leadership Council, and a past member of the Los Angeles County Bar Access to Justice Committee.
