Kerry Garvis Wright Recognized as a “Top Labor and Employment Attorney” by the Daily Journal
Glaser Weil is pleased to announce that Partner and Co-Chair of its Employment Group, Kerry Garvis Wright, has been named a 2019 “Top Labor and Employment Attorney” by the Daily Journal.
The nation’s leading daily newspaper focused on law and business accepted nominations from across the state. This is the third time Kerry has been included by the Daily Journal in this select group.
In addition to highlighting her notable cases and clients, the publication describes how Kerry’s practice has broadened in the post-#MeToo era. She has handled some very significant internal investigations, including the headline-grabbing investigation of allegations of misconduct by Guess? Inc. co-founder and then-Executive Chairman, Paul Marciano.
As Kerry explained in the Daily Journal feature, she finds herself being “more of a true counselor.” “I find myself not only dispensing legal advice, but also giving non-legal advice like, ‘OK, how is this going to impact a career and what can we do to forestall that? How do you deal with a spouse? Is this something you should tell him or her now? Do we want [him or her] by your side when you're responding to these allegations?”
Kerry and the Glaser Weil Employment Group as a whole possess a breadth of experience that makes them true counselors and winning advocates for their clients, both employers and employees.
