Leventhal and Petrossian Recognized Among San Diego Business Journal’s 2024 “Leaders of Influence in Law”

Joseph Leventhal is a partner and the head of litigation in Glaser Weil’s San Diego office. Joe is an accomplished trial attorney with extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, class actions, and real estate, employment and intellectual property disputes. He has led jury trial teams in both state and federal courts and achieved successful outcomes through appeal. Joe’s clients range from business executives to Fortune 250 companies. Joe’s experience is complemented by his leadership in the legal and broader community. He serves on the national board of directors for the Federal Bar Association, on the Southern District of California’s Standing Committee on Discipline and as VP of the San Diego Federal Bar Foundation. Joe also actively serves on the boards of St. Vincent de Paul’s Village and Just The Beginning, a pipeline organization focused on increasing diversity in law. He was formerly commissioner of the City of San Diego Ethics Commission.

Emil Petrossian is an experienced trial attorney and managing partner of Glaser Weil’s San Diego office. Emil's practice covers all facets of complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts and arbitral forums, and he is routinely called upon to handle his clients’ most sensitive matters. Recent representations include handling a multimillion-dollar affordable housing litigation for Alliant Capital, securing favorable outcomes in high-value disputes for Post Investment Group and CoreVest, achieving a summary judgment victory and $1.6 million fee award for Gensler in one of its most significant litigations ever, and serving as lead counsel for various businesses in eight-figure civil and contract disputes. Emil is consistently recognized as a leading commercial litigator in California and has been selected for Daily Journal’s “40 Under 40” list, SD Metro’s “2024 Top Attorneys,” LABJ’s “Thriving in Their 40s” list, and Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Litigators in America.”
