Glaser has observed an evolution in courtroom presentations, including a trend toward more use of graphics. "Jurors and triers of fact are expecting people to make a high-tech presentation,” she notes. “Whether it’s graphics of some kind or a timeline, you tell your story graphically more today than ever before.”
BARBARA RUBIN

As executive director of Loyola Law School’s Entertainment Law Practicum, Rubin has spent the past year not only practicing entertainment law but also teaching it. She also oversees Loyola’s internship program, which has placed students at MTV, NBC, CBS, Legendary Pictures, WME and elsewhere. Her projects as Entertainment and Media Partner at Glaser Weil this year included structuring and negotiating a deal with Participant Media’s cable network to air the Peabody Awards as well as her department handling transactional entertainment matters including production legal for the hit television series "Dancing with the Stars".

“For me, the most gratifying part of my career is that I have one foot in the business and practice of law and one foot in the academic arena,” she says. “I think I’m being helpful in bridging the gap between the two.”
