Corporate Paralegal
Glaser Weil is seeking an experienced corporate paralegal to join our growing practice. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work alongside highly experienced, talented attorneys on sophisticated transactional matters. This position can be based in our Century City or Newport Beach office.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- A Bachelor's degree
- A Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or equivalent is strongly preferred
- A minimum of 5 years’ working on general corporate transactional matters, including conducting research, reviewing and preparing due diligence documents, drafting closing documents and managing regulatory filings in all states
- Public company and securities experience is a plus
- A proactive self-starter mindset and the ability to lead significant projects, demonstrating initiative and accountability
- An inclusive, team-oriented attitude
- Responsiveness and excellent client and attorney service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and deadlines
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide creative problem-solving solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Suite
Glaser Weil offers a rewarding career in a supportive, professional environment, as well as an excellent benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance, bar association dues, 401(k) plan, parking, sick leave and vacation leave. The annual base compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000. Compensation will be dependent on applicable experience and skillset of the candidate. These numbers do not reflect a successful candidate’s total compensation. Base compensation is only the guaranteed component of the total compensation package and does not include discretionary bonuses and the other career-enhancing opportunities of joining the Firm.
