Recruiting and Strategic Growth Coordinator
The Opportunity
Glaser Weil is seeking a talented coordinator to support our dynamic recruiting and strategic growth team. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing initiatives that drive the Firm’s growth and recruiting efforts. This engaging and diverse role offers hands-on experience and an excellent opportunity to develop strong recruiting skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects across various workstreams while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders. They should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and exceptional project management and organizational abilities. This position is based at Glaser Weil’s Century City office (Los Angeles) and will report to the Senior Legal Talent Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen and evaluate candidate resumes, cover letters, transcripts and writing samples.
- Input candidates into the recruiting database and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
- Coordinate all aspects of interview schedules with candidates and Glaser Weil attorneys, including reserving conference rooms, setting up Zoom meetings, preparing candidate materials, briefing attorneys on candidate details and calendaring appointments in Outlook.
- Greet candidates on interview days and oversee smooth transitions between interviews.
- Create interview feedback surveys, follow up with attorneys for feedback and catalog responses in the recruiting database.
- Draft communications to recruiters regarding candidates and serve as a point of contact for external recruiting firms.
- Manage and update external recruiting firm contracts as needed.
- Draft and post job descriptions and prepare offer letters.
- Prepare weekly recruiting pipeline reports and quarterly updates on recruiting progress.
- Support the Senior Legal Talent Manager in strategic initiatives to promote associate recruiting and retention.
- Coordinate associate development committee initiatives and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Two years of experience, preferably in professional services, recruiting, human resources or strategic growth.
- Impeccable attention to detail, with a proactive and self-directed approach to managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Superior client service skills with a demonstrated willingness to go above and beyond.
- Exceptional written, editorial, proofreading and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information persuasively.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to collaborate.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on workload demands or planned events, including occasional off-site commitments.
- Strong computer skills, including web-based research, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
The base compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. These numbers do not reflect a successful candidate’s total compensation. Base compensation is only the guaranteed component of the total compensation package and does not include discretionary bonuses.
