Glaser Weil’s Peter Sheridan to Speak at CLSA's 2023 East Coast Construction Law Symposium in Miami

Glaser Weil Construction Litigation Partner Peter Sheridan will present at the 2023 East Coast Construction Law Symposium hosted by the Construction Lawyers Society of America in Miami, FL, on May 19, 2023. 

Sheridan's presentation "Robots on the Job: Expansion of Their Use and Resulting Legal Issues" provides insights into the current scale of industrial robotics, offers the historical context of prior use as well as predictions for future expansion, showcases cutting-edge applications of robots in the construction industry (including for masonry, rebar, drywall, laser leveling, bricklaying, plasma cutting, heavy equipment, data gathering and projection, and more), and outlines key legal implications and practical takeaways for construction attorneys to consider when engaging in projects involving robotics. 

In addition to serving as Chair of Glaser Weil’s Construction Law Practice Group, Sheridan is the 2023 President of the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He is ranked among the nation’s leading lawyers in Chambers & Partners’ 2023 USA Guide.
