Results
Andrew’s notable experience includes his representation of:
- A development-stage biopharmaceutical company, as part of the team that achieved a favorable jury verdict in an extremely rare 10(b) securities class action trial.*
- A national insurer in a series of related suits, defending against bad faith claims and alleging cross-claims for unfair business practices, securing a walk-away global settlement for the client.*
- A healthcare network and physicians in related arbitrations against a competing provider, resulting in the plaintiffs dropping all claims after successful discovery efforts to prove plaintiffs’ claimed damages were unfounded.*
- A national insurer in a breach of contract action to enforce a settlement agreement with a third-party on behalf of an insured, forcing compliance with the terms of the agreement and change in business practices by the defendants’ agents after defeating an anti-SLAPP motion.
*Denotes prior firm experience.
