Overview
Jacob Yang is a litigation associate in Glaser Weil’s San Diego office whose practice focuses on complex commercial disputes.
Jacob is well-versed in preparing for hearings and trials in civil actions across a range of areas of federal and state law. He has experience in reviewing motions and draft orders for sentence reductions, arguing motions and filing appeals before California courts, and corresponding with counsel regarding filing requirements, procedural matters and hearing dates.

Prior to joining Glaser Weil, Jacob served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Larry A. Burns, U.S. District Judge, Southern District of California. He was previously an associate at an international firm that focuses on intellectual property.
Jacob earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and served as an editor of the San Diego Law Review. While in law school, Jacob also served as a Moot Court executive board member, president and treasurer of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and Crawford Academy chair and events committee board member of the Advocates for Children and Education student organization. Jacob earned his B.A. in legal studies, with a minor in philosophy, from the University of California, Berkeley.
