Overview
Wogai Mohmand is a litigation associate in Glaser Weil’s Century City office whose litigation practice focuses on business and entertainment disputes.
Wogai has experience researching and drafting pleadings in state court, federal court and arbitration, including motions to dismiss, demurrers, motions to compel arbitration, and preliminary injunction motions. She has taken and defended depositions of key witnesses and is a skilled negotiator. She takes care to investigate pre-litigation matters and provide counsel to clients related to feasibility of potential legal claims.

Prior to joining Glaser Weil, Wogai practiced law at a nationally recognized law firm based in Los Angeles, and before that, at an Am Law 10 firm.
Wogai co-founded and serves as co-chair of the board of ANAR, a community immigration justice organization that provides legal services to thousands of Afghans seeking entry into the United States following the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. In connection to this work, Wogai has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, PBS NewsHour, Reuters and The Nation.
During law school, Wogai served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Justice Therese M. Stewart, Associate Justice of the First District of the California Court of Appeal. She earned her J.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served as the managing and publishing editor of the Berkeley Journal on Middle Eastern and Islamic Law. While there, she also earned a public interest and social justice certificate, as well as a pro bono honors certificate. Wogai also earned her B.S. in business administration, with an emphasis in criminology, from the University of Utah, where she graduated cum laude and also served as the executive secretary of the Office of the Academic Senate.
